Postgraduate 24 years of orthopedic and traumatology experience. Area of interests: Trauma Deformity Limb Lengthening.

In 1999 he started his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He became an Orthopedic surgeon in 2005. He worked at Florence Nightingale Europe Hospital, Manisa Military Hospital, Erzurum Buhara Medical Center and Başkent University İstanbul Hospital as a consultant surgeon.

He became Chief Assistant in Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Research and Training Hospital after a successful exam. As a result of his academic studies, he received the title of associate professor in 2015 and professor in 2020. He is currently working as a faculty member in University of Health Sciences, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
 
Dr. Mustafa Gökhan Bilgili’s academic interests are trauma, deformity and limb lengthening surgery. His profession focuses on management of traumatized patient, pelvic-acetabulum fractures, deformity surgery,limb lengthening, Ilizarov method, malunion, nonunion and osteomyelitis. He served as an executive board member of Turkish Orthopedic and Traumatology Association, Orthopedic Trauma Branch between 2018-2020.
 
Dr. Bilgili’s daily orthopedic clinical practice mainly consists of complication treatment since his residency. His main treatment aim is to increase the quality of life of disabled patients and provide their pre-injury activity levels with clinical and surgical methods. He is especially interested in preventive medicine in orthopedic practice.

Orthopaedics sports medicine-As an Orthopaedic consultant of national super league football teams Kasımpasa and Buyuksehir belediyespor I took the responsibility of the treatment of more than 1500 sportsmen and athletes since 2006.
 
I have performed arthroscopic knee surgeries ( meniscal repairs, ACL , PCL recons, cartilage repairs) , arthroscopic shoulder surgeries (rotator cuff repairs, Bankart repairs adhesive capsulitis, SLAP repairs, subacromial decompressions, coracoacromial reconstructions), elbow arthroscopy ( Tennis elbow , releases, coronoid fixations,cartilage repairs,) arthroscopic ankle surgeries ( cartilage repairs, hinfoot arthroscopy, impingement syndromes), hip arthroscopies (impingement syndromes). Arthroplasty I have performed primary total and partial knee replacements on 2480 patients, primary total hip replacements on 980 patients, partial hip replacements on 600 patients, total and partial shoulder replacements on 35 patients, total ankle placement on 5 patients, and performed many referred revision surgeries. Orthopaedic Oncology Treated 940 musculoskeletal bone and soft tissue benign and malignant tumors so far. I have performed many ct and ultrasound guided biopsies. I have involved in many limp saving reconstruction surgeries.
 
Traumatology I ve worked as the main consultant surgeon of emergency departments of national hospital groups. I have involved in the treatment of more than 200 bombing injuries and war victim causalties. I have performed open and closed technique treatments of too many fractures since 1999. ( open and MISS plate fixations, intramedullary nail placements, etc.) Other I’ve worked with war injuries and high energy traumas and performed many hallux valgus, rigidus, pes planus corrective, high tibial and distal and proximal femoral osteotomies, deformity correction operations, nerve entrapment releases (carpal, cubital, peroneal, tarsal), metacarpal metatarsal femoral and tibial lenghtenings, pediatric congenital hip dysplasia operations.
